  • Poet Juvenal said that Rome is always asking for bread and circuses as something they need.
  • They needed bread which was free grain from the state. 
  • They needed entertainment like circuses or Colsseum to keep them alive and distracted.
  • Tiberius Gracchus has advantages of courting with the plebeians because they don't have much.
  • Military generals lead an army to conquer land.
  • There was three men that formed the First Triumvirate which was also known as the rule of three men. 
  • Caesar appoints himself governor of Gaul.
  • Pompey gets jealous and becomes his rival.
  • Octavian was named Julius Caesar’s sole heir.

Mason Freburger 4/21/20 How did Alexander the Great get his horse Bucephalus? -           Alexander the Great  was a King of the Ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty.  He took over for his father Philip II's throne at the age of 20. He was born  around July 20 356 B.C in Pella. He died  June 323 BC in  Babylon. Mason Freburger 1/24/20 From Prehistory To Civilization 200,000 years ago a human species emerged in equatorial (central) Africa.  Earliest prehistoric age is the Paleolithic age also known as the (Old Stone Age ) Neolithic age is also called ( New Stone Age) Neo means new.  The difference between the Neolithic Age and the Paleolithic Age is that in the Neolithic Age the people learned how to plant, mine, harvest, make advanced tools, and hunt. In the Paleolithic Age the people did not know how to make or harvest anything.  Agricultural Revolution was also known as the Neolithic Revolution. The population increased so that meant that the surplus on food was high and their was more people that could go and gather food.  Men usually did the dirty work like hunting. Mason Freburger  3/25/20 Philip II - Philip II was known as Philip II of Spain because he was the King of Spain. He was born in May 21, 1527. He died in September 13, 1598. King Philip II was the King of the Spaniards from 1556–1598 and King of the Portuguese as Philip I from 1580–1598. Philip II was remembered for his success and failures. His Successes were that his army beat Ottomans so they were defeated in 1571.
