The Geographic Grid

Geographers describe where things are by these three things scale, space, and connections. Geographic Grid is a system of imaginary arcs drawn in a grid pattern on Earths surface. Latitude is the angular distance of a place north or south of the earth's equator. Longitude is the angular distance of a place east or west of the meridian at Greenwich, or England. Parallel is a person or thing that is similar or analogous to another. Meridian is a circle of constant longitude passing through a given place on the earth's surface and the terrestrial poles. The most major significant lines of Latitude and Longitude is the equator, the Tropic of Cancer, the Tropic of Capricorn, and the prime meridian. My absolute location is 0,0 with the Equator and Prime Meridian meet.
