Introduction to Human Geography

      Human Geography is the study of peoples cultures, economies, and the community that they are living day to day. Human Geography is basically what events certain people attend and all of their activities. Geography is a study of earth and all the planets. Geography studies what inside earth for instance, the land, features, and inhabitants. Human Geography is the study of peoples cultures, communities, and also their religion. Physical Geography is a branch that deals with nature and all the processes that are in nature. The differences of Physical Geography and Human Geography is that Physical Geography deals with the climate and processes of nature while Human Geography is about peoples cultures and their economies. The similarities of Human Geography and Physical Geography is that they both involve humans and the environments because they are both linked by humans. The three types of maps are a political map, physical map, and the topographic map.

Mason Freburger 4/21/20 How did Alexander the Great get his horse Bucephalus? -           Alexander the Great  was a King of the Ancient Greek Kingdom of Macedon and a member of the Argead dynasty.  He took over for his father Philip II's throne at the age of 20. Mason Freburger 1/24/20 From Prehistory To Civilization 200,000 years ago a human species emerged in equatorial (central) Africa.  Earliest prehistoric age is the Paleolithic age also known as the (Old Stone Age ) Neolithic age is also called ( New Stone Age) Neo means new.  The difference between the Neolithic Age and the Paleolithic Age is that in the Neolithic Age the people learned how to plant, mine, harvest, make advanced tools, and hunt. In the Paleolithic Age the people did not know how to make or harvest anything.  Agricultural Revolution was also known as the Neolithic Revolution. The population increased so that meant that the surplus on food was high and their was more people that could go and gather food.  Men usually did the dirty work like hunting. Mason Freburger  3/25/20 Philip II - Philip II was known as Philip II of Spain because he was the King of Spain. He was born in May 21, 1527. He died in September 13, 1598. King Philip II was the King of the Spaniards from 1556–1598 and King of the Portuguese as Philip I from 1580–1598. Philip II was remembered for his success and failures. His Successes were that his army beat Ottomans so they were defeated in 1571.
